Things you can do

These are some of the things you can do to raise awareness of the campaign issues:

  • Join the Malago Yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/malago/. This allows you to use the group’s e-mail list and share information with other members of the campaign.
  • Check the campaign website regularly for information and news about events. Our website contains links to other helpful websites using the Links menu selection.
  • Write (politely) to your ward councillors to let them know how you feel about the rapid transit threat to the greenway. The councillors for Windmill Hill ward are Mark Bailey and Alf Havvock. The councillor in charge of Transport on the Council Executive is Mark Bradshaw, councillor for Bedminster. You can write to your councillor at:
    Bristol City Council
    College Green
    BS1 5TR
  • E-mail your ward councillor to give your views. You can find out who your councillor is and their contact details by visiting the Bristol City Council website: http://www.bristol.gov.uk
  • Get involved in the campaign. Join the steering group or one of the working parties. Turn out for events that are publicising the threat to the greenway.
  • Sign the campaign e-petition at http://epetitions.bristol.gov.uk/view/malago.
